Eyesent Privacy Policy

Effective: October 26, 2026

Eyesent is a Chrome extension and the eyesent.com service that tells you when a Gmail message you sent is opened and returns selected messages to your Inbox at a chosen time. This page explains what data Eyesent handles, and what it never touches.

What Eyesent collects

How Eyesent uses it

What Eyesent never does

If you receive a tracked email

Someone using Eyesent has sent you a message that contains a tiny invisible image hosted on eyesent.com. When your mail app displays the message and loads that image, Eyesent records the time and the user-agent your app sends, and tells the sender the message was opened. No other information about you is collected.

Storage and retention

Data is stored on our server (hosted by DigitalOcean) and kept while your account exists. You can ask for a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us, and we will remove your account, tracked messages, recipients, open events, settings, Gmail tokens and reminder records.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Access to your data requires your sign-in token. During early access, sign-in is limited to an allowlist.

Google user data

Google user data is used only for these user-facing features. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI/ML models. Eyesent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with an updated effective date.
